Sunflower support aims to develop counselling practitioners who embody ethical practice, ensuring they are ethical, intersectional, culturally competent, and anti-oppressive in their approach. The clinical supervision space allows supervisees to reflect on all aspects of their clinical work, receiving both formal and informal feedback. Supervisees can be confident that their own well-being and the welfare of their clients are central to every aspect of their work together.
The clinical supervision framework will reference the Seven-Eyed model of supervision (Hawkins and Shohet, 1989), which is essential for counselling practitioners to ensure ethical practice.
