An initial no-fee, no-obligation Zoom chat is aimed at giving space for any questions, priorities, and scheduling arrangements.

As a member of BACP I am bound by their Ethical Framework to protect confidentiality. Therefore, everything that we discuss is confidential except in certain circumstances.

Exceptions: 

Harm to self or others

I reserve the right to break confidentiality if I think that you have become a danger to yourself or other people. I will attempt to discuss this with you and my supervisor first, but this may not always be possible. In some circumstances I may need to contact your GP or 999 Emergency Services. 

For legal and ethical reasons

I am not bound by confidentiality if in good faith I feel that I can assist in the prevention or detection of a serious crime, this includes safeguarding issues regarding children or vulnerable adults, crimes regarding substantial financial gains and losses, and acts of terrorism.

 I ask that you are somewhere you feel comfortable, can be undisturbed and can talk freely and confidentially.

A counselling session with Sunflower Support typically lasts for 1 hour, although session length may vary depending on your specific needs and preferences.

Counselling Standard Rate:

£60 per hour

Counselling Reduced fee rate

A reduced fee is available upon request to clients who are claiming benefits or students. Please note that this must be agreed prior to our first session. I would require proof of current enrolment with education provider, or current benefit entitlement from the Department for Work and Pensions. 

Clinical Supervision Standard Rate:

£60 per hour and £30 per half hour

Clinical Supervision Reduced Fee Rate:

Available upon request to trainee counsellors and I would require proof of current enrolment with education/training provider.
